Looks nice and small. Hope the base is a sensible size for an LCD screen.

I don't really think a camera merits all the "Revolution Killer" talk. It could be very cool but I doubt that it will be as precise as the Revolution controller, which is essentially a flying mouse.

Boy, you sure seem to know alot about the Revolution controller even though the specs on it have not been released. Either you work for Nintendo or are a Nintendo fanboy.

Look, I know as much as you do about the Revolution controller. All I'm saying is that I find it hard to believe that a camera that recognizes motion is as accurate as a calibrated device designed specifically to recognize 3D movement. If you've ever used a flying mouse you'll know what I'm talking about. Flying mice are what they use for virtual reality setups. Obviously I'm only speculating, but that's what people do on forums.

I love games. Period. Take a look at the sidebar over there and you'll see that I'm a pretty good contributor over here on Xbox360 *Fanboy*.

Conceptually, this camera sounds very cool, which I said in my previous post.

So piss off and have a nice day.

That and the camera is supposed to be released in may according to this brochure.... which sounds about right.

I was kind of hoping it was going to be released this month (still possible I guess in the U.S.?) but I'm looking forward to it regardless.
Also, I hope they release the 2nd version of Neon Visualizer that will allow you to use the camera to visualize yourself through the massive amount of colors while listening to music.... how awesome would that be at a party? :)

Yea, good point #6... so I wonder if it's going to have a USB passthru of some sort for wireless users?

I'm still willing to bet this is the same direction Sony is headed with the PS3 and EyeToy, and that's why the controller was always a prototype... I'm all for this kind of thing, too long have I been tired of the same old controlling, I just hope every console is unique and still enjoyable.

@ #8: From what I've heard a USB HUB works fine with 360 controllers (even though MS says the 360 won't support them) so if MS doesn't offer any solution for wireless users I would say the HUB would be worth a try.

And about this camera, I'm really excited for this thing. I'm just hoping it gets a good consumer backing behind it, because I think it'd be great to be able to put a face to all the anonymous voices you meet on Xbox Live. I think it's gonna present a great advance in the relational aspect of online gaming, and the Xbox Live community.

USB hubs DO work with the 360. It was tested in an issue of either GI or OXM, can't remember. However they daisy chained masses of them and hooked up every USB device you could think of with a lot of success. A few devices didn't work, but overall, the 360 is about as flexible as a PC in the USB department. Get a small hub, plug it into the back and you're good to go with a wireless adapter, cam, iPod and thumbdrive, leaving the front ports for lame wired controllers ;)

Spartacus, it was OXM. They even plugged in one of those little USB light up aquariums with plastic fish.

The only thing that didn't work was a PC joystick because it required its own drivers.

The wireless adapter SHOULD have come with a pass-through connector.

How much do you guys think this thing is going to cost? If it is any higher than $50 then I am waiting for the price to drop!
