Super Mario Reloaded

Super Mario meets The Matrix in the clash of plumber vs. plumbers vs. lots more plumbers. This video, originally done in flash by Paul ter Voorde in 2004, envisions the infamous Neo vs. an army of Agent Smiths using Mario & Luigi sprites. The animation stays true to the movie's fight scene, although we wish the author would have replaced the pole with a hammer or Raccoon tail (some choreography would have to be changed, but the sound could still sync up).

As we said, it is a couple of years old, but we never covered it and we thought it pretty amusing when we watched, so enjoy!

Loved it.

This guy should team up with Proxicide to give us a feature length movie. Now theres something I wouldn't miss.

By the way can anyone tell me whats the name of that song used in both the Megaman trailer (link below) and the Ryu Vs Scorpian fight?

This is a great movie. How have I never seen this before?

Somebody should definitely do the whole movie like this -- it would be alot of work, but who wouldn't love to see The Matrix starring Mario and Luigi.

As Joystiq stated, this is pretty old, and I've seen it quite a few times over the years.

However... damn. That is still pretty cool. No - I'd say it's fuckin *awesome*. Theres a lot of talent going on there to match that entire fight scene up so perfectly. Really makes me want to go watch Matrix Reloaded again...
