Nice! Thanks for the tip. I'm in LA, and will try to line up to get a ticket.

Think the ArcLight Cinemas are pretty new and have fancy digital projectors installed. Nice stuff leading up to E3.

I don't understand what all the hype about this movie is. It's OK, but not a great movie. Solid B or C flick.

OH!!!

I saw Star Wars Episode 3 there and MAN that is an ice theater. It is a tad on the pricey side but considering that there is no bad seat (even in the front row which is where I sat) I would def. go again.

Only problem is that I have to work (I work in Costa Mesa in Orange County) and you have to be there at noon for tickets. Oh well...I'll just buy the DVD when is FINALLY comes out in April.

Opinions aside, Advent Children is a bad bad film.

*end of FF7* Yey! Bad guy dead!... good girl dead.
*film* Oh no! Bad guy alive!... good girl popping up.
*end of film* Yey! Bad guy dead!... good girl dead.

for a game series based entirely around grandeur storylines, this film wasn't even comparable. utterly failed. As a stand alone film its tripe. And the credits? haha.

#6, you're all kinds of ignorant/stupid.

You clearly didn't understand the intent of this film, and from the sounds of it you're too ignorant/stupid for me to waste time explaining it, only wasting enough time to tell you that you are, as I figure it's something you should probably know.

Ah. Perfect opportunity to reap some benefits from unemployment! Just a half hour drive for me.

The Dome is great but it's been years since I saw anything there. I know I saw Godzilla and/or Lost in Space there. And the 25th Anniversary event where they showed a restored print of the movie that played the week the place first opened, which was 'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.'

The film is just fanservice, the moment you realise this, and expect this, you might realise it does exactly what it sets out to do.

Haters should realise not everything has to be deep.

FFX-2 rocked if you realised its intent.

Joe, don't be an assbag.

FFX takes itself way too seriously, so a silly and extraordinarily fun Charlie Angels-spoof for a sequel was welcomed. FFVII's story was too good, too self-contained to be raped by a fanfic-level extension like Advent Children. Last Order was more worth watching, for the 24 fleeting minutes it'll give you.

If they really wanted to treat their fans, Square should have rereleased FFVII with a proper translation. "This guy are sick," indeed.

Momus, that's all opinion still. FFAC at least provided some proof to people's inferences of Sephiroth's control of clones and how they worked, as well as just an hour of fights that looked badass. That's what I expected, I'd had my deep story fill from playing FFVII.

I enjoyed it, you didn't. Whatever.

FFX took itself seriously being a bad thing? Was it a joke to you?
And FFVII's translation is the least of my worries in 2006.

And assbag? That was just unneccessary.

Just because it's the internet doesn't mean you *have* to be abusive when people have a different opoinion to you.

I think everyone just has to face the facts that the movie was one big over-hyped, extra expensive Cellphone Commercial.

Well it's the internet...what do you expect? People who wouldn't normally have the balls to say something like that to your face do all the time.

Have to throw my hat in with the "Advent Children is awful" crowd, I thought it was an abysmal film. If you are determined to like it regardless of quality I'm sure you will, but I'd recommend anyone who is just curious about the film to avoid it.

I've seen AC about 15 times and have loved it every time. The story obviously wasn't as deep as a FF game since it is a 100 minute film and not a 100 hour game but it didn't need to be anyway because it since it's a sequal to the game then the big story has already happened in the game. This is an extension to that story. And number 15, this movie focused on mobile phones for like a minute throughout the entire film. Some films show more than this. The story is good, the graphics are excellent, the fight scenes are great and overall this is one of the best films of the year.
