Joystiq had a couple of posts this week that deserve a second look from loyal Xbox 360 followers:
Ross Miller asks an important question for stockholders and concerned fanboys: How much does Microsoft lose per 360 sold? The answer is....not much, meaning market share or no, the next-gen Xbox is probably creeping toward Nintendo-like profitability. This is big news because MS has never ever made a profit on anything before </sarcasm>.
And finally, how could anyone not be charmed by the vision of Joystiq's Vladimir Cole huddled around his 360 for warmth when the heat went out at his apartment— like Bob Cratchet nurturing his last ember of coal. Maybe the Scrooges at MS will give back to the community next winter by donating a few of their profit-making consoles to the poor for use as makeshift space-heaters.
