There is a line between dedication and irresponsibility.

I'm not exactly sure where it lies, but I'm fairly certain that the person who owns the setup pictured (if genuine) has crossed it.

I'm not saying I'd play on the setup! But I tip my hat to anyone who can... and does.

You'd think that $400 would have gone to a big TV to watch crappy network TV on, instead he's making do with what he's got.

A friend of mine is a "big brother" to a 12 year old kid. He said that kid has an Xbox 360. He said that it was hooked up to a standard TV, but they do have an Xbox 1 hooked up to an HDTV. Doesn't that sound like the dumbest thing?

I told my friend to have that kid switch that around.

And I thought my 20" Sylvania TV with a (slightly) tilted picture tube was bad. The fact that he got a premium makes it even funnier, at least to me. Hell, my 20 incher would only cost about the $100 difference these days. My setup isn't even gonna be close to the worst if that's any indication. Anyway, I'd be kinda lying if I turned in the setup in my dorm room cause at home I can play my 360 on a beautiful 30" Philips HDTV (sitting in the hollowed out cabinet of what was a 30 year old RCA TV. If that ain't ghetto, I don't know what is).

Oozer, IMO the core system is a waste of money - but I know some people couldnt find premium units, I was lucky to get my hands on one. I spent the extra hundred bucks because the premium system is simply a better value.

If noone 'tops' my setup, I'd actually prefer a couple of games rather than a headset. But hey, I'll take what I can get :)

I have a 13 inch tv that I play on under my bunk bed (but without bottom bunk). I use regular headphones but those headphones (which would include a mic) would be extremely helpful because I use basic in-ear headphones, leaving one out so i can hear with my regular xbox live microphone. http://i2.tinypic.com/t7o9rr.jpg

I gotta give up props to the kid.

I certainly won't be winning with my 52" HDTV.

I could have won this if I hadn't thrown out an old 9 inch black and white TV that I had.

Why not have a contest with the best 360 set-up? You know for comparison purposes. =^)

Dood, I submitted my sorry-ass setup last night. These are hilarious, love the concept of the contest, kind of helping out those of us who actually had to sell plasma to get their 360 and borrow games because we're out of cash. Now we can feel like we're actually priveledged.

If I win, I'd like to thank the Public Radio Station I work for for making this possible through my tiny, tiny paychecks.

Just hope the winner's setup isn't actually a "setup" setup, if not me. Pick ME!
