The DS stylus: comfort edition

I've been wanting something like this for a while.

Other sites will sell "thumb-stylus" things, but usually they run 10 bucks. They also don't look as comfortable as this one. Add it to my list of things to buy on payday.

I actually bought one of these before I had even received my DS Lite in anticipation of playing Metroid Prime Hunters. After owning my beautiful Enamel Navy for four days, I haven't really used it much. I actually like the DS stylus better for MP:H, but I do think this is a nifty product, and I might try it out again. I had tried it with the stylus nub much closer to the tip of my thumb than in this picture and I found that I didn't have the level of control I wanted. Maybe the way it is pictured above with some look sensitivity experimentation would work better.

Neat idea but this thing is about 5 seconds from being permanently lost.

where do you store it? the same hole? that'd be great. normally on games that are stylus + right-side buttons centric (vs. one or the other) i just end up chewing on the stylus.

doesn't it get in the way of buttons when you use yout thumb in button mode?

Your thumb is typically not very capable of exacting motor movements. It grabs stuff and lets go and thats about it. I scoff at the people I work with that buy those thumb based trackwheel thingamabobs. Lame!

It looks like it should be poison tipped and used in a game from the 'Hitman' series. Now if they just produce a DS version from that series...
