The DS Lite is already appearing in promotional Best Buy pamphlets, attached to a rather vague release estimate
that heralds its arrival sometime in the next "couple months". While that non-descriptive window of time
encompasses the May and June release dates we've been hearing of, it hardly represents the kind of confirmation you can
grab a solid hold of and use to beat rumors into a state of unconsciousness. Still, one can easily infer that the Lite's insertion into Best Buy's marketing machine indicates a reasonably nearby date of release, at least a good deal before the launch of the Revolution (which hits sometime before Thanksgiving, according to Nintendo). Nintendo couldn't possibly be so cruel as to release two of their most desirable products in the same frame of time, right? Until Nintendo's E3 press conference tells me otherwise, I'm sticking with my prediction of an early June release--that elusive New Super Mario Bros. bundle included.

[Update: Some of you have been unable to find the DS Lite info on the Best Buy website. That's because the above document is only accessible to Best Buy employees and is yet to be distributed to customers.]
