Phantagram hasn't forgotten about Kingdom Under Fire amidst all the hype surrounding Ninety-Nine Nights. They are
currently working on another KUF sequel, Circle of Doom, for Xbox 360, and recently announced that
the franchise will also return to its PC roots with this new installment. Phantagram will focus on the PC release,
while KUF: Heroes co-developer Blueside will handle the 360 efforts.

Dude you just don't get it do you. MS is intentionally making it easier for games to be cross platformed developed, that is PC & 360. This is huge incentive for developers because it allows them to more cheaply appeal to two different audiences of gamers. This boads well for us all since we will have a greater degree of choice and more games to play.

Just because Microsoft is making it easier, doesn't necessarily mean it'll be better. Games ported from consoles to the PC tend to not take advantage of the PC (no mouse in interface, no high resolution support, low-resolution textures, draw distance way too short, dumbed down AI, etc.)
You can't blame people to not be excited for _another_ port of a console game to the PC. Even if the franchise had started on the PC. Look at Halo, for example. Started on the PC, became a console game, ported to the PC; did well on consoles, was generic and boring on the PC.
