I'm too sexy for my Guild Wars Factions armor
First,
there was a World of Warcraft video featuring
the trendy denizens of Azeroth dancing to the beat of Right Said Fred. Now, ArenaNet and NCsoft are playing dress up
with the stars of Guild Wars Factions, or should we say, "Fashions"? The game's web site
has 16 new screens of armor sets that will be available in the first sequel to the popular MMO. For the most part, these fresh battle threads blend in nicely with the Asian-themed continent of Cantha, where Factions takes place. All that's missing on this catwalk is a phone-wielding Naomi Campbell character class.

What can I say? Factions outfits look really sweet.
For example:

Yea um...they look cool and everything but what is up with the first one? The chicks legs are either way too thin or her crotch reason is way too big.

If you are rich enough you can pay for 15k armor which is a bunch of rags for some classes :)

If I was a ninja, and they had ninja armour for sale, I'd buy it.

I am the only one who has a problem with armor that looks more like a fancy evening dress than something that could actually protect you? Some of these look like they barely hold on, much less protect the wearer.

Direct protection is obvious but She seems to have the cleopatra thing going on... Hey who said sex does not save lives...LOL She has planty of protection... I'm sure the destraction would be enough to warrent a missed shot... due to other reasons...LOL

@ Pag:
Say it with me now...
It is a video game!!!
Who said it has to be realistic and lifelike?

I agree that most of the armours do not look very protective at all, but the case could be made that the armour is "magical", therefore maybe less is more?
Having said that, the longstanding tradition of scantily-armoured RPG characters has gotten old.
I am rather impressed that they managed to get the Asian body proportions correct, especially with regard to the Assassins. I like how they made the females petite, but with believable proportions. Speaking as someone who has (in general) proportionally the same build as the female Assassins, I'm pleased with the results.
