There's also a novel that came out not long ago that details some of Vader's exploits shortly after Episode III. Hopefully the game is set in a time well after that book, since he wasn't quite the badass we all know and love at that time.

Hopefully the first level involves a slow, deliberate torturing of Jar-Jar.

So...

I guess people are still making jokes about hating Jar Jar Binks?

@3
No jokes with me, I take my jarjar hate very seriously.

Since nobody has said the obvious already I will...

...do ya think this could be the rumoured Revolution light-sabre game?

TeaTom, honestly I don't think Nintendo will be getting many Starwars games. The original Playstation got them (N64 only had rogue squadron). During the next generation, Xbox got the majority of Starwars games (republic commanda, KotOR...).

Lucasarts seem to go with the system with either storage requirements or the fastest processor (likely to make their games look as good as possible). It appears the Revolution will not meet specs on either storage or power.

This is just my guess, but I doubt the revmote is going to be enough to tempt Lucas and company.

Jaemz- Huh?

Gamecube star wars games:

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (working title)

Sounds like a good amount of support to me . . .

jaemz, just to point out the facts... the N64 launched with Shadows of the Empire and in addition to Rogue Squadron has also Episode 1: Racer and Battle for Naboo, so there are four Star Wars games on N64.

It may just be speculation but something about this sentence in paticular piques my interest
"Mr. Hirschmann later demonstrated a test game, shouting and jumping each time a storm trooper tumbled onscreen, the character barely catching his fingers on the pixel ledge."

Hopefully you should be able to follow this link for the full article without the need to register.

I know what games the N64 had as I owned them (I loved PodRacer, didn't like naboo nor shadows)... however the Playstation had a lot more (ones that I really wanted to play).

When I got the PS2, all the games (aside from SWBF) I wanted to play were on the Xbox.

So drawing a little bit of logic, I noticed what systems the best Starwars games were on... power and storage.

Yeah, but Nintendo has no Battlefront and no KOTOR - the two best and best selling SW games of all time.

Xbox is the best of the current gen for SW gaming. Starfighter and Jedi Academy were fun, and also Republic Commando. Clone Wars was pretty lame though.

Not only that, but I have sincere doubts that Lucasarts (or Bioware, or whomever) actually *chose* just to release certain SW games only on the Xbox. More likely is that MS knew that the Xbox would need some popular exclusive titles in order to survive, and Star Wars fever was still running pretty high, so dishing out a little dough to Lucas to get a few exclusive Star Wars games was a pretty safe investment.

Jedi Starfighter can't hold a candle the Rogue Squadron games on the Gamecube. Starfighter got so boring and bland after a while.

Well jaemz, as you stated, the PS1 had all the fun star wars games, then when you got a PS2 all the fun star wars games were on Xbox.

I think it's Nintendo's turn to have the fun Star Wars games on the Revolution. And Lucasarts doesn't have to use the revmote directly, Nintendo's still making that "shell" to put the controller in for more traditional gaming.

Battlefront I and II, KOTOR I and II, Republic commando, they were all better in the PC, and with all the modding community, so was JK:jedi outcast and jedi academy. but since we are talking about lucasarts supporting nintendo, I really liked the gamecube RogueSquadron games more than the ps2 Starfighter, xbox didnīt have any real StarWars flying game.
