Joyswag: Be clever, win Odama

Alright, smart guy (or girl)! Think you're so smart? Show us your smarts by transforming this boring screenshot of the Gamecube's latest feudal Japan-themed pinball/real-time strategy/voice command blockbuster, Odama, into something...well, something else. We'll leave that part up to you.

Add voice bubbles, photoshop skillz, UFOs, whatever; just do it better than the next guy. Subtlety works, but so do Japanese tentacle monster or Mecha-Streisand invasions. Please use the enlarged version linked to the post image above and mail all completed entries in .JPG format to joystiq.applications[AT]gmail[DOT]com. Please include your address should you be chosen as super ultimate winner number one!

Yep starring Tom Cruise. The three Japanese Odama tv adverts would be far funnier to get screenshots from to caption.

I had an excellent idea (imho), but could never get it finished by tonight. It was going to involve some CG animation. Would have taken me a good 4 - 6 hours. I'm not going to have that much free time on my hands, today. But, anyway, it was funny.

Why am I revealing this? Because it's lunch, I'm trying to diet (gotta fit into that Joystiq T I ordered this morning), and typing takes my mind off of food. At least it DID, until I started typing about food. Now all I can think about is that Chinese take-out restaurant beckoning me from across the street. Stupid take-out. D'oh!
