Pre-order the official Joystiq 2006 T-shirt [update 12]

For those of you wondering, yes, we did fix the "Q" in Joystiq.

We also added the site URL at the very bottom of the design in small, small letters.

1.Are you guys shipping USPS with in US? If yes will you ship USPS to Puerto Rico since shipping USPS to PR is like shipping USPS with in the 50 states.

2.Where is the logo and how big it is?

Only 200 shirts, and they're catering to outside of the USA. An exclusion of XXL or larger does not surprise me. If you really want them print off the picture on this post and make it yourself. =P

We would have liked to provide this option, but those shirts cost more to print up and we have a very rudimentary shopping cart system here. It just would have made things too complex. We're writers, not e-commerce people.

Sorry, PR counts as outside the 50 states for the purposes of this. We don't yet know how we're shipping.

I didn't care for this design and the shirt is black which really looks kinda gross with the orange and blue.

What brand t-shirt are you using? If it's American Apparel, I'm good to go. If it's just run of the mill pre-shrunk, I'm not so sure.

I don't understand why folks who aren't getting one feel the need to drop in and diss the shirt. Ain't you losers got anything better to do with your lives than be negative all the time? Didn't you ever learn that if you've got nothing nice to say, it's better to say nothing at all?

Bah, I wouldn't have just bought one if it were a chuck norris shirt. That's already dated and stupid. The only reason it persists, I believe, is because it annoys some people so much. Ahh, antagonism. :)

I wish the shirt were more game-related, but the design is generically appealing enough. The colors on black look pretty good to me too. But then, my wardrobe consists mostly of E3 and dragon*con swag, so I should not be consulted on taste.

As for the price, $14 is expensive for a short-run multi-color on black shirt? Well, they probably don't ship to your village in sub-sahara africa anyway. Jeez.

I think I speak for all of us when I say thank you for making the shirt reasonably priced, a lot of shirts from websites these days are 25-30$ without shipping and I bought this without a second thought. Killer design, I think all of us crack a smile when we see gojirra ;)

ordered it up. I love that you can pay with paypal, otherwise I wouldnt have been able to do this. I have no credit card, and paypal lets me pay with my savings account.

First the money is for a good cause. B- the shirt design is nice, a very simple yet sophistimacated. Thirdly, it's limited edition so im willing to show off my uber coolness sporting this bad boy.

Do your shirts run small?

I normally wear medium, but sometimes have problems with medium sized shirts shrinking into nothing (Like from U2.com)

Any recomendations?

At least it was better than the 800 (or whatever it was) free MS points from Verizon. I was at their site every single day for about 2 weeks. It kept saying, "come back on such and such date for your free points." Then they ended up giving them all out a day earlier.

Joystiq never promised the pre-orders would go on sale at a specific time. They put them up and they sold fast. That was sort of the point. Small number, big demand, Vlad has closet room, 200 Joystiq readers have collectible shirts. I'm sure there will be new shirts next year. This time before E3, so we can proudly display our love of Joystiq at the show.

I can understand your frustration, but Vladimir warned from the beginning that the run was only going to be 200. I'm actually happy he kept it at that, when the demand was obviously higher (it would be a screw to the people who bought one if suddenly more were made).

Maybe Joystiq readers who don't like the shirt, don't fit into the shirt, are allergic to the shirt etc. will be willing to eBay their shirt at cost to a fellow Joystiq fan. Or maybe you'll win one in a giveaway. Just keep your fingers crossed and your eye on the prize.
