Metoeos: Disney Edition?! What, is that all the Kingdom Hearts goodness we're gonna see on the DS?
Josh @ Apr 26th 2006 3:33PM
Meteos: Disney Edition? O.O;;

If Q Entertainment adds some Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection support and a few new modes to Meteos: Disney Edition, I'd be tempted to pick it up.

I love when developers get onto something good then destroy it though over saturation and sequels.
Lumines and Meteos were good. Leave them a few more years, please.

Lumines on PS2 is the best news I've heard in a while. I've been very tempted to repurchase a PSP (a friend lost mine and paid me back-I got DS games instead of another one) just to play that game, but now I won't have to :)
Rare Hare @ Apr 26th 2006 4:26PM
as i don't own a PSP, i'd probably buy the PS2 version of Lumines.. if it were offered for $20.
Nushio @ Apr 26th 2006 4:32PM
Allow me to join the multitude...
Meteos Disney Edition?!
It should be called Meteos: the Disney Sequel (Meteos DS DS).
Other than that, I'm tempted on picking up Lumines Plus for PS2
ALH @ Apr 26th 2006 4:41PM
hahaha, excellent, i was thinking of picking up a PSP eventually just for lumines and now i wont have to
Christopher7xii @ Apr 26th 2006 4:53PM
Didn't like Meteos honestly. It's so easy just to slide like crazy... Much prefer Tetris DS or Lumines. Don't know what they'd really add in a sequel other than new songs/skins. Guess we'll see though!

Also planned:
Lumines: Disposable Income Edition
Lumines: Mario Ain't Got Shit On Me Edition
Lumines: How Many Time Will They Buy The Same Game Mega Super Deluxe Edition
Lumines: Classic Hits Edition
I hear they've increased load times and stunted the control scheme to make it feel more like the rest of the PSP game library.

Now give us Metal Gear Acid Compilation: 1+2 on the PS2 or even PC and there'll be zero reasons to own a PSP.
Donutta @ Apr 26th 2006 5:35PM
I just lost every reason to keep my PSP. You'd think Sony would think more about putting the PSP's killer apps on their aging console.
PickyPants @ Apr 26th 2006 5:57PM
Wow, that's revolutionizing at its finest!
Lee @ Apr 26th 2006 7:53PM
Nintendo did it by putting Tetris on the SNES.
But this kind of game just is in its own in a portable environment. The shut-ins can enjoy their PS2-Lumines goodness I guess.
Tetris on the SNES...that still makes me laugh. =P

Lumines 2! Nice... I'll buy that.
"Now give us Metal Gear Acid Compilation: 1+2 on the PS2 or even PC and there'll be zero reasons to own a PSP."
Except maybe that your PC and PS2 are not PORTABLE... If you have no interest in gaming-on-the-go, then why did you buy a PSP? OMFG!
"I just lost every reason to keep my PSP. You'd think Sony would think more about putting the PSP's killer apps on their aging console."
If you seriously believe that, then you should sell your PSP immediately. However, you probably don't own one, you're most likely a smelly Nintendo troll.

Lumines Plus for the PS2 is a real dumb idea. You can't play it how it was meant to be played: widescreen, in your face, and on the go. Its just like tetris for the xbox, I couldn't even imagine playing it on anything other then a portable.

I bought into the Sony hype and picked up a Japanese PSP waaaay back in 2004. I got Ridge Racers and Lumines -- both quality titles that gave me faith in the machine. Since then I've only picked up Ghost in the Shell (and only because I collect GitS stuff). One game in over a year. That's because nothing else on the PSP is worth buying. It's either ports of games I played 10 years ago, or versions of Playstation 2 games I don't like. It totally fails as a portable device because none of the games lend themselves to "I've gotta kill 5 minutes while waiting in line."
I've held onto it in the hopes that something decent will come out on it, but basically I've been keeping it because Lumines is a brilliant game. But if there's an updated port coming to the PS2, then why would I hold onto the machine?
I love it how whenever someone expresses disappointment in something, they've always got to be a "troll" who doesn't own one. Maybe I'm pissed off because my PSP (plus memory stick, plus games) was a lot of money and it's failed to reward my investment?

Anyone heard of Daxter, Syphon Filter, Socom, or Burnout? All quality titles with plenty of critical acclaim. Seems like those are four good reasons right there to own a PSP. Let's not forget the MP3 playback, movie player, mobile internet browsing, RSS feeds, and other features on the system either.

Well I just happen to have 2 playstation controllers but only one PSP. This will be a great way for me and my roommate to challenge each other.
We've both played is single player on the PSP but I have yet to meet someone else with a PSP in my proximity.

I really hope they come out with Every Extend Extra for PS2, I love the demo (PC) version and I don't want to buy a PSP.
