Great post! Seriously, even my wife, who is more than fed up with my gaming obsession found Nintendo's name hilarious. At least it is all bringing us lots of joy from laughing if not gaming at this point. Hopefully the system will be a radical new gaming experience and Nintendo will put down the crack pipe and just call it the REVOLUTION!

I had a friend whose last name was Cook. It was derived from Koch, a German name, but during World War I or II (I forget) his family changed it to a more American spelling. I was told the pronunciation is the same.
