This info was included in the round of Australian videos that I linked to yesterday, but I'm sure many of you didn't want to hassle with registering to view it. Anyway, here's a somewhat incomplete list of the achievements in the world's most anticipated Xbox Live Arcade title, Streetfighter II:

12 World Warriors - 5
Play a match with all twelve characters in single player arcade mode

Perfection

Bonus Bonanza

World Champion

7 Stars

Hyper World Champion - 25
Complete single player arcade mode without losing a match

Perfect World Champion

I Got Next - 5
Play a match in the online quarter mode

10 Online Matches

50 Online Matches

10 Online Victories

30 Online Victories

When is this coming out?!

here is the my game of childhood.

it's nice to see at Xbox

i'll probably end up geting all them acheivements in one sitting if i play the way i used to. (it would be one hell of a long sitting though)

Excellent news. I'll always be impressed by how MS tied the arcade games into the Achievements system, rather than just shoving some ROMs and a glitchy emulator together as has been done even quite recently. Heck, the older ones even got graphics upgrades (Gauntlet, Joust), making the 360 versions easily the ultimate ports short of owning the upright.
