Excuse me, but who confirmed those are all demos. The MS announcement states that there will be trailer OR demos of those games.

And as some more resources for this one...

http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/gearsofwar/news.html?sid=6148786

... and ...

http://www.360monster.com/newspost.php?id=0000000709

Guess I was "late" in getting them submitted. *SIGH*

Anyhow, what I was thinking would be freaking cool... Microsoft could be saying "If it's at E3, it's at your place. That 2 minute video of Halo 3? Download it. Demo for Lost Planet? Download it. If you can see it or do it in L.A., you can do it at your home too."

Now if only Sony and Nintendo could follow suit and a)not make false promises and b)not disenfranchise their fanbase with stupid product names or bad controllers.

Going to be an interesting week, for certain.

Major Nelsons wording is

* Playable game demos and/or trailers from highly anticipated titles like:

o Crackdown (Microsoft Game Studios)
o Dead or Alive® : Xtreme 2 (Tecmo)
o The Lord of the Rings ™, The Battle for Middle Earth™ II (EA Los Angeles)
o Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (Capcom)
o Moto GP™ ’06 (THQ)
o Sonic the Hedgehog™ (Sega)
o Splinter Cell Double Agent ™ (Ubisoft)
o Test Drive Unlimited (Atari)
o Viva Pi? (Microsoft Game Studios)
o Plus a flood of HD trailers from games that have yet to be announced

More than likely the games listed will only have trailers, the demos will probably be of other crap.

The games on that list will have demos *OR TRAILERS*. So, probably trailers for lots of 'em. We know a Lost Planet demo is coming, but the status of the others have not been clarified at all.

Probably will only be covering 360 stuff too. I don't think they would show stuff from Sony or Nintendo.

Why should they? Would you?

Live is back. Nothing new on the 360 side, though the My Xbox section of Xbox.com has had some work.

Oh, man. I want an E3 map. That would be amazing. That huge hallway between the South and West Halls, with all those huge columns--there are tons of great hiding places. Not to mention all the fun you could have in Kentia Hall. Icing on the cake would be a view of Staples Center out the windows, where the Lakers and Clippers will be in a showdown for the ages.

Yeah, I know it's a WWII shooter. Who the f cares?

MS likes to market this as the one-stop E3 shop. Hmm. If that's true, I wonder if I'll be able to download Wii and PS3 content?

Just to clarify, you cannot download these items unless you have the 360, right? I have Xbox Live and a regular Xbox, have not upgraded to the 360 yet.

Tee-hee, I might now though, broke up the GF and that $500 I was going to spend on her birthday will be better spent on a premium package a game or two for me!
