Unless one of those "new and exciting features" is solid gameplay, then I don't see why anyone should care whether Tomb Raider appears on a Nintendo console.

I would love to play with Lara on my Wii.
I had to do it.

Hope they do something different with the Game Cube version.

Cool - I'd like to have a blast on Legend, but I don't have a PC that'll run it.

May be they'll supply a better ending -- that alone would make me pick up this version. I've been told the ending generally sucks, which has kept me away from playing this ...

They downsized all female anatomy, and are completely cell shading the game.
Sorry, I had to do it before some some Sony fanboy came in and did it. Hopefully it will generally be good, a better ending would be better! More than likely will be GBA connectivity for the cube though.

Yeah, i'll be picking it up for the Cube too. The graphics will be somewhere between the xbox version and the 360 version, i'm sure.
Love for nintendo!

Tomb Raider is rated 12+, the delay must be to remove all skin showing and remove all guns and deaths, that way it will fall into the demographic for the Gamecube.

All you people who are bashing it, Have you even played it?
Yes all the past Tomb Raider games have totally sucked, and at first I didn't give a shit about Legend. but Legend after playing it my opinion did a 180*, Legend is an amazing game. It is very solid in story and in gameplay. And the ending was Great. I can't wait for Legend 2.
I'm happy I'll be able to get Legend for my GameCube now and I can't wait to see what the extras are.

I agree; TRL (NOT Total Request Live) is sweet. I haven't played a TR game since the travesty that was TR3, and I like it more than any of the Prince of Persia games.
The major problem with it is that it's only half a game. I barely noticed that I had beaten it until the credits started to roll, but even then I went back for all the hidden artifacts and time trials.
I only rented it, but if the GC version has a few more levels it might warrant a purchase. Nonetheless; Lara is back and she kicks some serious ass.

Unless one of those "new and exciting features" is the ability to go back in time and release it at the same time as they did on every other platform, i couldn't care less.

CK says, "May be they'll supply a better ending -- that alone would make me pick up this version. I've been told the ending generally sucks, which has kept me away from playing this ...".
So, if a game is 99% good but the ending is not good you would not play it? Interesting.

Tomb Raider Legend has to be one of the great games of 2006! a bold statement yes, but consider the fact that compared to ALL the other TR games, 99% of control issues have been resolved, 99% of graphical crapiness has been solved (less t&a generally makes a better game character) and 99% of Legend is plain fantastic to play over and over, i see no other choice to put this as one of my favourite games of 2006.
The chose to downsize Lara's anatomy was a smart one, you can actually enjoy the game more without that distraction. And for anyone who has slated the game without even playing it, GOOD, STAY AWAY! people like you dont deserve to play great games, go play a fifa game or one of EA's other god aweful sports titles.
So anyway, Oblivion this aint, but it sure as hell comes close with just how darn tootin fun it is...
oh and they finally let Lara speak, ie. its the real model laras voice, sexy voice.
2 pence...

Yay for all the Lara love!
Awesome game but I wouldn't say "downsizing" her secondary sex characteristics made me look at them any less than before. Although she does have a prettier face and quite the charming personality.
