While it's hard to argue they look good visually, I'm sure the gameplay, ie wii-moting, will surely be a new experiance. I'm a little worried that people will only be into the wii as a gimmick or a fad, something completely new and fun that dies down over some time, hopefully they get better looking games.
Oh then again I sort of doubt middle america cares if the game looks really good or not, hell I remember hearing recently that last years best selling title was a pokemon game...

P.S. I'm not the Paul he in thanking in this and other posts, but I've used this name here for a while. Just wanted to say I'm not trying to impersonate anyone. I think I got a negative star once for posting in a thread with the same name as someone else.

I also noticed the girl is holding the controller sideways. That's excellent!! I found it kinda stupid having to always point the controller lengthwise at the tv.

Also, im no genius here but it looks like that fancy remote is being used like its always been used, in no shot are they pointing it at the screen, maybe the nin fanboys will finally see that the wii is a scam...
im not here to fight, but cmon (guys & girls) u see the same things i see

Also, if I *ever* play any game like this guy does, I will promptly hurl myself through the nearest window:

Also - sometimes a single frame can conceal the true resolution of an images - sometimes - movement cannot be captured without some distortion.

One thing that's standing out as a problem for me is that that controller looks to be about the size of a candy bar (and I'm not talking King-Size). I have rather large hands. Unless that guy in the pictures has hands bigger than mine, I personally foresee a hell of a lot of hand cramps, which will necessitate much shorter game sessions. Not cool.
Can we see the shell now, please?

Perhaps it will have HD support?

Before anyone claims this is just a rant from a Nintendo Fanboy, you're wrong. I own a 360, and am looking into buying a Wii.

Sorry but the latest version looks far better then that. You can find any game in it's development cycle that when the dev kits weren't finalized doesn't look very well compared to the final version. Especially when the dev kit is missing 99.999 of what is in the final version.

I wonder if Nintendo was thinking that because Res 4 looked so good, that every developer would be able to take whatever hardware they give em, and make it look just as good for the Wii.
Hey, just because Nintendo thinks differently, doesn't mean they think better. I hope things end up looking better at E3...for their sake. And that includes gameplay.

I have a feeling that they probably wouldn't have posted photos of people playing with dissapointed looks on their faces. Just not good marketing.

not only that, they have to showcase old people also to show that even granny likes to game with a wii! Its like video game affirmative action.

Even nintendo hater and all around graphics whore Tommy Tallarinco was impressed with the wiimote's capabilities. And that was on a spongebob game to boot!!!!
