Since it has the Cube memcard slots, games and accessories that require them should work (Advance Game Port, Pokemon Box, Pro Action Replay, etc.) Sweet. That means Wii can basically play anything except DS.

My concern with the Wii is what will it look like on my current screen? I've got a 16:9 1366x768 WXGA LCD (capable of HD) that runs @ 50hz. My dvd is connected by component, runs at 576p (EDTV) and looks truly amazing. My Gamcube is connected with an RGB cable and just looks terrible in comparison to a standard CRT (RGB@60hz). I've read somwhere that the cube's output which is PAL 576i 768x576 (4:3 SDTV) is then stretched to fit my screen....... It looks so shoddy you wouldn't believe it. I'm not a techno freak, I love playing dodgy graphic retro games on my PC but I am praying to lord Nintendo himself that they change their mind and support 720p (1280x768 16:9) The average joe or new gamer wont care or realise that they're looking at squashed or slightly dodgy graphics, BUT I DO!!!!!!!

USB might mean we can hook up a hard drive, which will go a long way considering the downloads will be made for Flash memory.

This thing will at least have 480p, probably more, because it has a COMPONENT out.
