DS mega list shows Phoenix Wright 2, more
If you thought Reggie was skilled at assaulting posteriors and acquiring names, you'd best beware of the author of one highly comprehensive fact sheet that was pulled from Nintendo's press website. A tipster sent us the document in question and, upon reading the list of currently planned titles and their projected release dates, we experienced something that could best be described as a seizure of delight. If the epic list is to be believed, zany courtroom adventure (and DS Fanboy favorite) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is receiving a sequel in October. The rest of the document also contains a bunch of unannounced titles (none of them from Konami) and some specific release dates, including one for Star Fox DS. Another click will take you to the complete list. Trust us, it's a good read.[Thanks, Ryan F!]

Meteos: Disney Edition?
What the f***.
Monk @ May 10th 2006 4:09AM
wow... the DS-lineup is incredible. The system is hitting that sweet spot where the huge install base means developers are really focusing on more and better games. The future is very bright. (Or should I saw "lite?")
shivr @ May 10th 2006 4:19AM
hehe 'star trek tactical assault'
yeah, I was worried DS would run out of steam after this spring but... looks like I was wrong.
also: YOSHIS ISLAND 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(apologies for the amount of exclamation points there)
Joe @ May 10th 2006 5:21AM
Still no Super Smash Bros? This saddens me.
Dr DOOM @ May 10th 2006 5:34AM
A new Micro Machines!! I've been waiting years for a proper sequel to V3. Please let it be released on other consoles too!!
Mike @ May 10th 2006 6:16AM
As excited as I am about Wii and some of the 360 games, the DS is where it's at. Phoenix Wright, Castlevania, Star Fox, Elite Beat Agents, FFIII...when it's all said and done, the DS is going to pass the SNES as my all-time favorite system.
Lord Jezo @ May 10th 2006 7:23AM
Will the Meteos Disney game have WFC support? If so.. must buy..
idioteraser @ May 10th 2006 7:58AM
Meteos disney edition has been known to be coming for some time.
As is Star Trek Tactical Assault.
Lets hope they produce enough Phoenix Wright to meet demand. They still are making phoenix wright but any units get gobbled up as they come out.
So you don't need to spend 75 bucks for it on ebay. Just be patient.
Icupnimpn2 @ May 10th 2006 8:19AM
Ooo the Marvel Trading Card Game? I haven't played that particular game, but if they use the Nintendo Wifi connection, we could have a winner... a winner of COMPETITIONAL STRATEGY FUN!
White Rose Duelist @ May 10th 2006 8:20AM
Will Meteos Disney require you to do something other than scratch the screen at random to win?
Coyote @ May 10th 2006 8:50AM
"Risk / Battleship / Clue / Connect 4 / Trouble / Sorry October 2006"
Are these all going to be on one cart? If so this will be the game to end all games as far as our camping trips go :P
Other interests, PW2 hell I cant get ahold of the first one...
Bethesda Softworks? Maybe Elder Scrolls DS??
Mega Man ZX? does having an X in the title still make it edgy and cool?
Spy Vs Spy: M.A.D. Will undoubtetly suck.. as all SvsS games have scince the Sega Master System.
FINAL FANTASY III September 2006 woot! and is FF6 still coming out on the advance?
JodyAnthony @ May 10th 2006 9:39AM
great, as if my ds doesnt consume my life already.
meanwhile: COOKING MAMA!
Stu L Tissimus @ May 10th 2006 9:50AM
I'm ubarhyped up for Phoenix Wright 2. Even though I know it won't happen... I just hope to god that they have a case editor. Imagine - you could use the case editor and upload cases and such on to some type of repository on WFC. And people could download them from you. You could form entire mod groups to help develop expansions for the game.
mr. reason @ May 10th 2006 10:39AM
geez thats 101 titles!!!!!!!
craziness
vagabond artist @ May 10th 2006 10:43AM
simply. awesome.
Ford Dent @ May 10th 2006 11:03AM
Oh please God, don't let the new Spy Vs Spy suck.
I'm over the fucking moon about some of these titles. Good thing I'll be picking up a DS Lite when they release, because it'll be getting one hell of a workout from me.
funkonaut @ May 10th 2006 11:19AM
Elite Beat Agents FTW!
Rycar @ May 10th 2006 11:52AM
Wouldn't "assaulting posteriors and acquiring monikers" sound better?
:-)
alienhead_69 @ May 10th 2006 11:57AM
mmmm... Contact = almost Earthbound

"Oh please God, don't let the new Spy Vs Spy suck."
Cause, you know. That old Spy vs Spy on the C64 was SO GOOD.
Oh wait, no. It was practically unplayable.
idioteraser @ May 10th 2006 1:51PM
Elite Beat Agents isn't An American localization of ouendan it's a completly new game with the same art style and play mechanics.
Nintendo has a website with many breif descriptions and screenshots of the games. DS games galore!!!
So I may still import Ouendan. However I think the Japanese may import Elite Beat Agents. The DS is region free after all!!!
Spider-Prime @ May 10th 2006 3:01PM
fuck I'm going to be poor this year.... again.
spazmatron @ May 10th 2006 8:42PM
#6 said "when it's all said and done, the DS is going to pass the SNES as my all-time favorite system."
yeah! my favourite gaming system ever was the amiga, and after ten odd years of lull, it took the DS to really get me excited about gaming again. Contact, FFIII, Custom Robo, Lunar Knights... Geeez!!! yeah like #22 said i'm poor again this year :D
#20 :O the original C64 spy-vs-spy game is a total gem! i played many many many hours of it as a kid... though all the sequels sucked, as did any other spy-vs-spy game i ever played. but the original was one of my all-time favourite multiplayer games
