I spoke with Chris Scantleberry from Got-Next gaming at Microsoft's after party today. Other than stuffing my face with good eats (fish and chips, chocolate fondue, steak, etc.), I asked him what he thought of all three keynotes. He was disappointed, as many, with Sony's viewing but did mention that the company has left gamers wanting more in year's past only to deliver the goods later when it really counts.Regarding Nintendo and Microsoft press events, he said, "while Microsoft talked about how fun their games are, Nintendo showed the crowd how fun their games are." Though Microsoft had the most finely tuned and well presented conference, I too would argue that Nintendo's demoed games, though graphically inferior, looked really fun on stage, and it was all live.
What say ye oh wise readers?
