In one of the screenshots on Nintendo's website it looks as if Rob is saying "mother shit".

The press release says 1-8 players locally, and 1-4 via WFC.

Yes, now you can do a barrel roll anywhere, and online!

A few things this tite shoud see.
An arcade style adventure mode, like the one from Sfox64.
the ability to save whilst playing the arcade mode.
the ability to talk back to what your teamates say, like just wait Falco, I'm in troublr guys, or report in team.
More missions alot more missions.
Finally a very large battle like the one on that planet with Bill.

Nice to see Star fox back. One of the Nintendo franchises thats due another look in (Along with Pilotwings I hope).

But FFS, why are more and more DS games using the touch screen for maps and crappy HUD screens? waw look I can navigate my fleet by DRAWING a line...where is the innovation in that? hows about allowing us to control the ship FULLY or something with the stylus (Not just rolls or whatever those dumb arrows indicate)?? Or have a completely different screen of ingame GFX at least to maybe show different angles in the game? Looks naff with a big screen boring map.

Yeah, I could figure out much better ways to utilize the touch screen. How about using it to control the joystick inside the Arwing's cockpit for analog control? How about drawing a circle to DO A BARREL ROLL!...? Oh, and one question: "Who are you guys?!"

"We're Star Fox."

One last thing - Fox looks really, really dumb.

Sense - I personally think it is, too, but I'm still a sucker for it.

I can assure you it wasn't the first 3-D polygon-based video game ever made, so I have to wonder what the hubbub was about the original...

This looks better:

http://dessgeega.com/starfox2.html

What about a control scheme whereby you move the Arwing with the D-pad and aim/target fire with the stylus?

But in all seriousness, I'm waiting for the multiplayer in this game. It should be as good as the N64 version, which I wasted a few good hours on. =D
