Is this game anything like Moto GP 4 for the PS2?

I am hoping the X360 has enough power to run a motorcycle racing gamer properly. It has always been a genre that I wanted to enjoy, but felt the technical limitations of the current/previous generations of consoles came up short.

There is alot of physics and highspeed graphics that are needed to pull off a motorcycle game properly. Sure there might be some good games out there, but they just don't make me feel like I am there.

Hope the demo rocks...

I thought this demo was decently fun, but had some small issues. There was signifiant lag on some games that I experienced (I guess a little too common these days). Also, the gauges on the bikes when in first person mode had PS1 textures on them... c'mon guys, this is next gen??

Other than that a good play. The single player felt nice, the independent braking scheme feels pretty good (although I can't say I've been on a Kawasaki before). All in all this game has potential if they would polish the small things a little bit... but that's not likely as the game's release is pretty near.

bigc4: they're completely different games by completely different companies.

It's kinda annoying, but MotoGP is basically like saying the NFL, and EA hasn't bought the rights to the title, so anyone can use it. really confusing.

the xbox edition of MotoGP is done by THQ, and I have to say, the previous entry was a fine game, and the first time sync I got ahold of in too long a time.

Anyway, THQ's motogp is a little bit more arcade than Namco's. Don't get me wrong, this isn't need for speed on bikes, but it's a bit less anal retentive. I personally think that THQ's provides superior feedback, and has much better track design... but then again, i hate Namco with a passion.

Also... as a major racing game fan, I must say... it has an INCREDIBLY robust Replay system. saves, over 12 different views, slow mo, the works.
