There are more Wii impressions that every other console combined, current gen and next gen. Wow. Hopefully the others start to catch up these next couple days.
phipscube @ May 11th 2006 1:45PM
I dont believe their are only two games for PS3... could you guys turf your butts outta the Nintendo booth for 5 minutes and give us a bit more on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Cheers :)
Jack @ May 11th 2006 1:45PM
Whats with the Wii bias? I dont want to rely on IGN for every hands on game experience when it comes to PS3
jaemz @ May 11th 2006 1:46PM
Good job so far joystiq... your hard work is appriciated.
JodyAnthony @ May 11th 2006 1:48PM
thats probably because most people are excited about the wii. judging by polls run on the site here, most people that visit (that vote in the polls, anyway) are interested in the Wii. many people lost interest in the ps3 when the price was announced, and the 360 is already out, its nothing new.
That being said, I am enjoying all the Wii info (just check my URL if you are wondering why) I just wish james ransom-wiley or whatever his name is would make at least one post on the wii without making complaints. but that's probably just the fanboy in me talking.
White Rose Duelist @ May 11th 2006 1:49PM
Isn't the proper spelling "All our impression are belong to us"?
I'm enjoying all the Wii coverage, but I am curious - is there really that much more on the floor for it than everything else? Will Joystiq be reporting more on other consoles in the next day and a half, or is there just nothing to report on?
iceatcs @ May 11th 2006 1:50PM
We are mostly hardcore gamers. Please give us more info rather than Wii.
gameclu @ May 11th 2006 2:01PM
Question. What makes a hardcore gamer a hardcore gamer? I consider myself a hardcore gamer, and I'm very interested in hearing more about the wii.
Scott @ May 11th 2006 2:01PM
I have been studying the pics of the 'Virtual Console Controller'. It differs greatly from the N64 controller...in a bad way. Games that didn't use the C-Buttons for camera control need 6 buttons on the face of the controler (Killer Instinct Gold comes to mind, but that is Microsoft Property now....speaking of which are we gonna see a KI game on 360???. It's long overdue). Also can anyone confirm a Trigger underneath the controller, most if not all N64 games need it, unless it has been relocated (I hope not).
Togmannen @ May 11th 2006 2:01PM
Maybe there are more games to Wii then PS3 at E3. There are 27 games you can play to Wii, and to PS3 I don't know. Maybe they will test more games to 360 Ps3 today.
the Brayn @ May 11th 2006 2:03PM
You listed "Soul of the Ultimate Nation" twice. Just thought someone ought to point it out.

* Mobile Suit Gundam
* Resistance: Fall of Man
* Warhawk
* Gran Turismo HD

Can I have your point of view all of those PS3 playable demo.
thatguy @ May 11th 2006 2:20PM
What do guys expect? This site has been overrun by Nintendo fanboy's and joystiq is just catering to their audience.
Debbie @ May 11th 2006 2:24PM
Looking for info on the PC game Gods & Heroes - I'm interested in hearing your review!
student @ May 11th 2006 2:31PM
Guys, yes, the Wii has been covered the most as of yet. But look at it this way. There are THREE days to E3. Most likely, joystiq is going to go console by console in their coverage as it would be easy once you go to one system's booth to stick with their games. All the Wii titles have been covered, so now they move on to the next systems. I can't believe this is a difficult concept for people here to grasp but it really seems to fly over everyone's head.
Come on now and lets all just enjoy the impressions.
Paul @ May 11th 2006 2:32PM
Are you guys going to play any DS games at all? They seem to have a sweet lineup.
James @ May 11th 2006 2:38PM
I think the wii group are more vocal than the groups for PS3 and Xbox360 which doesn't mean that there are more people interested in Wii than the other 2 consoles.
C. Grant @ May 11th 2006 3:54PM
If you think for a second that one of the biggest questions to be answered here wasn't whether or not the Wii is a gimmick, you're just plain wrong. Now that that question's been answered, we'll start covering everything else with the same focus.
We're getting to it, don't worry.
