This looks sweet! I'm really glad they decided against making a FPS out of Killzone on the PSP. It's not exactly the best control setup for the genre, whereas a Metal Gear Ac!d style real-time strategy shooter is much more fitting on a portable.

Overlooking the first posters ignorant commentary, I will probably be buying this game.

Huh? Perhaps you're blind? Perhaps just a DS fanboy? Perhaps you need to learn to read?

Thank you footlong for not being objective whatsoever. It's nice that you are a psychic and cant say a games sucks before playing it, heck, before even seeing a video.

Questions abound about Load Time. Too many half-decent PSP games have been hampered with annoying load times.

What is the battery life like? If, like some games, it reduces the PSP down to 5 or so hours of life, then it is more trouble than it is worth.

Does it require a firmware update? No way am I giving up the only worthwhile thing the PSP does, emulators.

Sheesh, such negative folks...

Regardless, this Killzone for the PSP is definately shaping up nicely. Will be looking forward to this one.

How come no one at E3 has played Field Commander yet?

Hunt it down Joystiq-ers, please! Even though it's due later this month I'm anxious to get some hands on feedback.

By the way Joystiq, whats up with pspfanboy.com ?

Nearly no posts about E3 seems a little bit strange. They even do not copy the topic related posts from joystiq like the other fanboy blobs do...

I think it's because most of the PSPfanboy bloggers have been picked up by Joystiq to blog at E3 this week. All of the fanboy sites are owned by Joystiq, so why should they waste time double posting stuff that has already been said on Joystiq. At least that is what I think is happening.

Before you post negative comments about a system (or in this case, portable handheld), make sure that you've actually played on the system with a variety of games, and used the systems other functions. If you haven't, and you simply post based on bias of the system, the get out or shut up. Your opinions are officially null & void since there is no real experience to go off of. Reading what fanboys say odesn't count as "Experience" (and I'm no fanboy, I love my DS too, albeit it's hurting for real games).

Is Killzone: Liberation a top-down shooter, or a strategy game? Move character, shoot, enemy moves, they shoot. Anyone know for sure?

So camalot, youre saying that you wont upgade your firmware because youd rather play little gameboy games and homemade crap, than play good new titles and playstation one emulators made by sony that work perfectly.

Oh and althugh its already been expressed before, Footlong your screwed up and compared to me you'd be called inchlong.
