Makes you wonder if at this point, with all of WoW's success, if people waiting in line were there as journalists, or just players hoping to give new info to their guildies and fan the flames of gear lust. Pretty sure I would have been in the latter group.
To think that Naxxramas is coming out in the meantime, I actually feel justified in paying a monthly subscription.

So is World of Warcraft all blizzard showed? Sigh, I hope the company develops other things. Blizzard is too good a company for me to lose them to the MMO market :(

I'm just amused that it's a bunch of Apple iMacs...I wonder if they're running X or XP?

About macs: WoW runs quite well on OSX, both PowerPC and intel macs. I don't think it's using X nor XP, but simply straight up Aqua(osx)

btw. Please don't take this post as a "MACS rulez over everything!!!!" Blizzard is just good at supporting osx as well

I still haven't gotten around to purchasing WoW. I just don't think WoW would offer much in terms of online tower defenses. I would like to see future releases get back to RTS instead of action.

It is worrying that Blizzard seems to have jumped on the bandwagon of their own game. With a movie coming out, a tie in card game (with rare cards that provide loot in the online game, omglolz!11one), and all the merchandise, it seems WoW must simply be too lucrative for them to do anything else.

A shame really, as Starcraft and Diablo were exceptional series and justly deserve sequels in the near future.

I do play WoW, and to be honest, I can see everyone burning out on it about the time the expansion comes out, to renew my interest.

No Wroguens though. Shame.
