looks like a fun way kil a kill an hour or two a day for a few weeks. then again, I loved the Toontown beta as much or more than the WOW beta so I'm not exactly a hardcore level grinder type.

I can't imagine this game being any good. Really, I can't. Pirate MMO's are almost impossible to really be good and if there is a company that can make that happen it certainly isn't disney and definately not SOE. =P

HAHA! A ship with a reverse setting! Have you ever seen "Master and Commander"?

I'm not into pc games, but I think I would try this, as I love the film - Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Disney World attraction. I wonder how much they will be charging people to use it though? My youngest used to use Disney Blast, and it wasn't worth the money.

Will there be raping and pillaging? Will there be a steady supply of rum? I would try it, but I doubt it will catch on. The reason pirates are and were so successful in their escapades was the fact that there were so few. If you spit out a couple hundred ships into the Caribbean there would be anarchy. Pirates attacking pirates, and all settlements would be under constant bombardment. I see a quick demise for this title, if it even makes it to the shelves.
