I watched this show the first season and I enjoyed it. After about a fifth of the way through the second season, I stopped watching because they had completed the show's original goal of figuring out what happened with their friend's death. Now, it's the same characters with new plot lines that are no where near as interesting. My point is: Desperate Housewives was based on a premise that has already been solved; now I'm not interested at all. The game should be no different.

"i love how her feet have sunk in the ground"

It's called a "work in progress" dude. If you were actually at E3, you would see that it is not uncommon for a game-in-development to have this problem.

I think this games it's gonna be a blockbuster, because the target of this game it's for casual gamers. Buena Vista knows that the most sold game of all times it's "The Sims" a game played by women, desesperated women ;-)

Um. . . "poorly written television"? Mr. Weeks, have you actually seen this show? It's actually one of the better ones, guy.

poorly written?

Either the author has never seen that show, or he doesn't know what "well written" is . .... maybe many action sequences and little dialogue...

I'd have to agree with #8. I don't really watch TV, but I used to watch Desperate Housewives. I hate soap operas like any guy, but this one happens to be exteremely well written, and even more importantly, a SATIRE of soap operas. It is genuinely funny. I don't get caught up in it, but it is one of the few TV shows I enjoy. Say what you will about it but it is not bad written.

No matter how good the development team is, you can't help but be skeptical after both the original cast from the Desperate Housewives TV show won't be lending their voices for the characters and the graphics look that repulsive from a technical and artistic standpoint.

I ingested some caffeine and updated the post. You're right, what annoys me about the show isn't the writing, which I understand is satire, it's the ridiculous hype it received from ABC and Oprah. It just seems like a wannabe HBO show.

Dude, HBO wishes it was getting the ratings that this show is getting. That is why it got so much hype...Kinda like something closer to us gamers, Pokemon.

Pokemon rose became very popular and then everyone jumped on to the Pokemon wagon and then came the clones....

I'm was more surpized that none of the other networks try and copy Desperate Housewives, instead they all went with "Lost clones" this year and most of them flop quickly. Invasion anyone?

So expect this fall to be a bunch of "Soapy drama: shows with a theme similar to DW. And them you then can bash this show all you want...just like people bash Pokemon...even those it's a really good RPG under all the "hype".

I blame the WB and Oprah :-p
