Best PSP driving game ever

So this is why that Gizmondo dude mutilated his $1 million Ferrari (other than street racing while drunk). Lumines on the sun visors.

DinnyHoon @ May 14th 2006 1:27PM

Now THATS a peripheral, but I sadly cant see it being squeezed on the bus.
wii man @ May 14th 2006 2:08PM
pfffffftt... it would go faster if it was a nintendo
alex @ May 14th 2006 2:41PM
What the hell is the point of this post?
Seriously.
It doesn't make any goddamn sense.
Xanok @ May 14th 2006 2:45PM
I dont get it?
C. Grant @ May 14th 2006 2:49PM
Hi alex and Xanok: welcome to a blog! This is a place where we post things that may be of interest to gamers, like a sports car at E3 featuring PSPs on the visors! Not of interest to you? Then kindly move along.
neale @ May 14th 2006 2:50PM
gaming blog reports psp sun visors in a badass ferrari. what dont you get?
im getting pretty sick of readin the comments on this site e.g "joystiq loves nintendo...."
if you dont have something interesting to say...
alex @ May 14th 2006 2:51PM
Oh hi C. Grant!
This is also a website, and not a random reference site!
Where in this post does it mention PSP's in the car specifically?
Or worse still, in the picture.
Yeah that's right, you silly bastard, it doesn't.
Take a bath.
kleger @ May 14th 2006 2:53PM
alex you are probably blind. haha.
neale @ May 14th 2006 2:58PM
alex. youve just confirmed your a moron
alex @ May 14th 2006 3:02PM
How did I?
Is this an ARG game?
You have to 'investigate' to find any connection with the PSP, because it isn't immediately noticeable.
And besides that, the article refers to it as though it's obvious.
Babylonian @ May 14th 2006 3:04PM
Alex: THAT'S BECAUSE IT IS. When it says "Lumines is on the sun visors", where exactly on the car is the first place you're gonna look?
Don't worry about the post, Joystiq. It's fine and the average person will get it.
MegaMatt @ May 14th 2006 3:05PM
I also have dual PSP's on my Ferrari Enzo.
apollo97 @ May 14th 2006 3:06PM
.... it says "Lumines on the sun visors." What else do you want? Then you look at the picture, and sure enough, psps by the sun visors.
wii man @ May 14th 2006 3:07PM

Nook @ May 14th 2006 3:23PM
hahahahahaha, neale I can see it now!!!
On a side note how can you have your osx icon soo huge? I would go insane if they were that big.
Grossed out @ May 14th 2006 3:41PM
That was just wrong, now pay attention and follow the arrow.
neale @ May 14th 2006 4:35PM
lol. nah i dont like having icons on my desktop, theyre all usually put away into video, pictures etc. just i havent got round to doing it and huge icons in my face remind me. my screens a 19incher aswell, theyre even bigger
Babylonian @ May 14th 2006 5:33PM
Hahaha, this is hilarious. I love how bitter this Alex guy is towards everyone simply because he didn't get the joke and publically embarassed himself with his first comment.
1up_clock @ May 14th 2006 5:38PM
Just ignore alex. He's simply a Lv. 3 troll whose strength is to deny the blatantly obvious. REPEATEDLY.
MegaMatt @ May 14th 2006 5:44PM
alex is awesome. he's just like "hey, f you"
Ad @ May 14th 2006 6:09PM
This post is justified for a few reasons:-
It was E3, and people want total E3 coverage from Keynotes to "Overheard at E3"
Anything poking fun at that Gizmondo bastard will delight Joysiq readers. He crashed an Ferrari and this post has a Ferrari in it and also a humurous reason as to why he might have. (As well as giving the actual reasons)
Possibly even a sublte reference to how, to this date, lumines is still the only game worth playing on the PSP. (If you have already played GTA3 on PS2 and emulators on your PC)
There's PSP's in the visors!
To deconstruct the post like this completley misses the point but it must be done for an idiot like Alex. The point really is that its game related and funny, welcome to joystiq!
Matt @ May 14th 2006 6:12PM
"alex. youve just confirmed your a moron"
It would be "you're".
Please keep this in mind when posting in public again. Also, use "than" when comparing two instances, and "then" for before and after. You grammatically deprived young man.
Geraldo Riccardo @ May 14th 2006 6:44PM
Alex was right. The picture was horrible and the joke wasnt funny.
alex @ May 14th 2006 6:53PM
Geraldo for the win!

Woody @ May 14th 2006 7:30PM
Yeah, I had no idea what was going on in this post either. I had no idea that there were psp's in the car. All I saw was the griffin logo. So I thought it was for griffin accessories, but that the acuall post was left out. So another thing, is this the car that crashed? Or just a comment? Because what I get from the post is that he sold the car to be shown at E3? So if this is the same car, why not show the front?
Siraris @ May 14th 2006 8:16PM
Phil Harrison took things to the next level here. I guess they don't have to just be for side mirrors!
TC @ May 14th 2006 8:35PM
#26 Matt:
That's worse than Alex's grammar!
And the powers that be are going to go after Neale for that dodgy pirate copy of 'Lost - Season 2" ;-)
PS. maybe the post for Alex should read "Ferrari has two PSP's playing Lumines on the sun visors, which are the flappy devices in the corners of the windshield to stop the sun hurting your eyes." :-D
new*allusion @ May 14th 2006 8:44PM
Did anyone see that guy in some of the E3 videos wearing the "DIETRICH DID IT" T-Shirt?
Ah, Gizmondo... a joke that will never grow old.
neale @ May 15th 2006 1:21AM
theyres nothing rong with my spellin and grammer mattt
cracknut @ May 26th 2006 11:35AM
his ferrari (the enzo) was not $1M. It cost $650k when available. The car in the picture is different (a 430 spyder I'm guessing).
