Luke Skywalker isn't new. He's in the original game. Do they let him act as a ground unit now (and thus seem new)? In the original he could only fly an X-Wing, so he was excluded from all ground battles. Unlike Vader, who could do both space and ground battles.

Luke can apparently be used on the ground this time because he supposedly has a light saber throw. So I guess that's new. This expansion will definitely make Empire worthwhile.

Looks like the Jedi/Sith units in this game will kick butt. I saw a preview with a Jedi unit rapidly shredding a group of infantry with lightsaber gymnastics. That'll be a nice improvement over the present slash/stop, next unit, slash/stop, next unit...

I guess also that Bespin is considered "new" because it has a ground map? Thought that makes little sense since the planet is (if I recall correctly) entirely gaseous.
