The PSP has games. They are just water downed ports while the DS (up until the WII comes out) are not able to be played on a console.

Nearly all DS games rate very poor whereas nearly all PSP games get on average an 8 or higher

Funny considering that PSP games are now being ported to consoles.

Ah, but we all know (or are realizing) just how realistic ratings can be. There are plenty of people who just want to have fun playing a game, and there are also plenty of games that are fun, but don't get rated high because they don't have above average graphics.

I'm not trying to defend DS games, since I've never played one, but I just thought I'd mention that.

I was reading a GamePro comparison of the PSP and DS. The "must have" titles for the DS were things like Nintendogs, Boggle/Battleship/Yahtzee/Monopoly, etc.

I'm going to grab both - the DS and the PC version. The original rocked hard, especially in the coop mode. I had hell of a fun back in the summer...

"Unlockables are cool, but this is sure to introduce some continuity problems in the storyline."
either this is a joke (and a pretty funny one at that)
or Alan's never played the first game

Will there be a 360 version of this? Honest to betsy the oringal was almost enough reason to keep my old Xbox because I loved to play it co-op with my daughter (nothing like sharing some Star Wars joy with a young one). I couldn't afford to keep both systems, though, so it had to go. I am seriously hoping that they make the old one backwards compatible and do the new one for both systems. I can dream, can't I!

I can't wait for this one. Lego star wars is awesome, but episodes 4-6 are really going to make it better! Bring it on, Han!

Whoever at Lucasarts is responsible for the timing of the release is a genius.

Last year, Battlefront II dropped at the same time as the Ep. III DVD release. This year, Lego II is releasing the same day as the original OT on DVD.

You'd think it was just a way to eke out a few sales, but obviously, this works very, very well. Just check the sales numbers on Battlefront II.

Brilliance.
