Um... if you can directly control an NPC wouldn't that render them, essentially, PCs?

It's like in Kotor2, they're sort of like mini-PC's. You still mainly control your main PC (The one that you built) and he's the one that you develop, but when you need a character to do something that the AI simply can't (Like, for instance, set up and ambush, with you standing in the open, and the NPC hiding a bit in some trees to the right) you take control of him, run him over there, and make him hold position and hide.

This is the game I'm most eagerly anticipating this year, so glad to see Joystiq is putting something up on it.

Cool, does anyone know if it will still run in Linux (or preferably other UNIX oses aswell but how big are the chance for that...)
