This is so hysterical. Wii has a pretty good chance of becoming #1. Nintendo may just end up back on top. We'll have to wait and see. They were the clear winner of this E3, and everyone's excited and intrigued by the Wii. It's just like Howard Stern. Ever see the movie Private Parts? His fans can't stop listening, their number one reason being that they just can't wait to hear what he has to say next. But his detractors also couldn't stop listening, saying that their number reason was that they couldn't wait to hear what he has to say next. Microsoft and Sony are both giving Nintendo the publicity they want. P T Barnum once said, "I don't care what you say about me just as long as you spell my name right."

One thing that no one is mentioned is the distance b/w the two high end systems may be benificial for MS but most detrimental for nintendo. Giving the early adopters enough time to come to terms with the first purchase (x360) may work for sony as they may be hungry again for a top piece of hardware.

Xbox360 is following the Dreamcast way: an early start but with all the people hyped by the PS3.

Sony are the kid at school who asks you what are your favorite shoes/band/clothes/games are and goes out and buys them, then tells everyone you copied him and his awesome ideas.
