No online multiplayer is confirmed ... makes me sad.

Ah come on. Please don't fall into the mentality of expecting every game to have a multiplayer feature. Some games are and should remain single player experiences.

I think it's fair to be concerned about the Wii's online capabilities and/or lack of online enabled games in development.

Yeah! Metroid is a single-player experience. Just like Metroid: Hunters. ;)

I don't see why they wouldn't put multi-player in this one at least locally. They did it with Prime 2 and of course Hunters. Their whole arc with the Wii is playing together so I'd suspect they want that to be encompassed in one of their very own IP.

I hope the game isn't ruined by concentrating on online multiplayer. The world doesn't need another Halo 2. But I have faith in Retro. My bigger concern is that it'll offer more than Metroid Prime 2 did. I love Metroid Prime 2 but it was almost the same as the first Prime. I hope this game feels more fresh.

I think they'll add a multiplayer. Possibly not online though. I mean, if you look at Metroid Prime for the DS... It looks great and plays great with a bunch of friends.

Either way, this game is going to be kickass!
