Well, Japan did win the World Baseball Classic this year. I would hope that would give baseball a boost over there.

Animal Crossing Sold over 3 million copies worldwide. The Brain Games overall have sold over 3 million in Japan alone. Mario Kart (not on the list) sold over 2.1 million. Nintendo is laughing all the way to the bank.

Those are sales figures not preorders. After all a preorder isn't a guarnteed sale.

I'm tired of seeing Japan sales chart. WHo cares? The games over there are totalling weird and stupid. Japan has different taste in games than U.S. Why don't you just put games that are popular here in the States and stop posting Japans.

Twism, because the japanese game market is important, due to the fact that if a company doesn't succeed over there (Microsoft), it becomes harder to succeed worldwide.

Twism, I'm pretty sure that Joystiq is read by people outside of the US. I know that there are European readers here, so why not Japanese?

I'm an American too, but I'm not so narrow-minded as to assume that every site should cater to Americans first and foremost.
