MGS4 to be Kojima's last Snake outing (seriously)

In an interview of him I saw a while ago, he said that he was getting death threats when he said he wouldnt be directing MGS4. Peaple saying that if he didnt direct it they would kill him. He said that it was getting so serious and his team was getting so worried that they made him take the chair as director again.

Hopefully Guns of the Patriots has a nice conclusive ending.

I'd like to see what else Kojima could do.

i ve never heard of him ending it before, i guess i dont pay much attention to mgs outside of the game, that kinda blows.

Hopefully he'll stop making MGS games and start making some good games.

Well you can't blame him from wanting to do other games, but come on KILL SNAKE!! You don't kill an icon like snake because you want " to move on " that makes no sense at all!!!!

last i recall, he still had FOXDIE in him... and he is getting pretty old. so why not go out with a bang! (perferably taking out the baddies at the same time)

except, they never claimed the FF game would be the last... it's just the title. though rumor was that the original FF got it's name because it was a "make or break" game for Square.

i read the rumors too about the threats... so maybe that was true, maybe not... dunno. if MGS ends as a franchise, then no one can threaten him... but i don't see MGS ending anytime soon... so the "save face" method would be to take MGS in another direction... something enough so he can say, it's not his style.
