That's great. You'd NEVER see a Sony rep be so open about something like that. Ever.

That has to say something about Sony's supposedly non-existent competition. Nintendo grew up, and now I think it's Sony's turn. Microsoft never really had a choice in the matter.

Wow, those are some amusing comments. I wish I could say stuff like that and manage to shake out a free Wii.

Yes, that's nice and all David, but here's how the discussion really went:

I wanna Wii! I wanna! I wanna! I wanna! I wanna! I wanna!!!

What this really is, is marginalising Wii as a toy console, not really in the big league. He's not being open and honest, he's trying to make sure people recognise that 1) Xbox 360 is the console leader, 2) Wii is a viable second console knowing that it serves a different market, and is therefore not competition to the Xbox360. This has the effect of leaving the PS3 out in the cold.

Reading between the lines, thats what I think.

Oh man, that picture and headline together are a hilarious combination. It's like he's throwing a tantrum.

Ade: That's exactly how I perceieved it.

I dislike the fact that he said he thought, "You've got to give them kudos for trying"... That's outright superiority complex right there. He's saying that Nintendo is a joke, basically, in what they're doing.

Maybe not what he meant, but that's what he SAID.

It seems that there is more and more people from microsoft talking about nintendo as a friend. I wonder what is going on.. Are they going to merge to form an unstoppable game console producin' monster?

How sick are we of that damn picture? Personally I think there should be a blanket ban on the shot for any form of media. It was funny, we get it now get over it.

Personally I believe that this stuff is great for Nintendo and Microsoft. Considering you could almost have both consoles for the PS3 price, it's viable to think that if they build off eachother like this they can easily oust Sony. Thats a better world for everyone :)

Personally I'll pick up a Wii at launch and nab myself a 360 in a year or two when the price drops and I can pick up all the launch games I wanted to play for 20 bucks a piece.
