Probally should have been shipped with background downloading. Oh well, at least we are getting it via update.

BTW, great photo!

I hope this comes soon.

I wonder tho... what happens if you have your X360 set to turn off after 6hrs, and your download que takes longer than that. I suspect your X360 will turn off, but it would be nice if it finished downloading first.

Nice. Can't wait for this. I spent a LOT of time getting E3 content. In fact, I still don't have all of it. Get to it Microsoft.

This will be a very, VERY welcome addition I must say. Let's just hope they make it available A.S.A.P. I can't wait to be able to download demos while playing Oblivion. :)

I think Xbox will save que and next time when you will start your favourite console it will continue to download. I'm not Microsoft's engineer, but I expect so

Articles #919422 and #919423 give more specific information about active downloading. Sounds sweet.

What about arcade games and the leaderboards? I know games don't allow you to post high scores unless you are actively connected to Live. Will this prevent that? I wonder.

And what about all the other Live things like voice chat or messaging. Will that all be available simultaneous with the downloading?

I can't wait for the features, but have a lot of questions too.

I love the way every time a new feature comes out there are folks who immediately start stressing about what-ifs. Relax. It will release when it releases. It will be better than what we have now. It won't be perfect. Nothing to stress over.

AHa, the arcticles don't appear to up anymore?? MS's lame-o troll(spies!) network works fast. I wish they would fix things as fast as they can pull crap down to confuse their customers. Is anyone really surprised that it is delayed? As an xbox owner we should all be used to the fact that MS has hit basically none of its scheduled dates. I have a feeling its delayed so they can do something to combat the DVD Drive hack. Which will last all but 3 days before its modified and we are hacking again. In the MS's mind, "Just shut-up about what you want and give us your money"

I hope they had the foresight to make the console able to auto-resume downloads that "Failed" due to wireless network disconnection.
