Pangya Golf commercial: 7 million can't be wrong
11
There's just so much enthusiasm coming from this commercial for Super Swing Golf Pangya, it's hard to ignore it. Or to breathe. If you make it through to the end, you may even glimpse Kasumi, fresh from getting her head kicked in by a despicable clone in Dead or Alive 4.

I saw this on youtube shortly after E3. Thing is it appears to have been made before E3 so obviously they are one of the developers mentioned during the press conferance who knew about the speaker in the wiimote.
I do wonder why numerous game sites didn't mention the commercial. It looks like a tv commercial rather then some promo material.

Dude, what are commercials if not promo material? Commercials are made to promote a product, service, or company. I'd say "commercial" and "promo material" are pretty much synonymous with each other...

I've been playing the PC version of this game since I saw this commercial (and sent the link here).
I really like it, if someone is interested, and although I am against advertising, go to albatross18.com, register and download.
Have a fun time golfing!

I forgot to add (and if its not much of a problem, please merge my posts).
This game appears to have the same courses as the PC version of the game. Same characters too, sans Kasumi.
One of the things of this game is that the game itself is free, you purchase golfclubs and stuff with "Pang" earned by doing great swings or hitting a birdie. Then there's the cookie system, which makes you pay for cookies with (*drum roll*) cash.
Some items and characters can only be bought with cookies, others with Pang.
I hope the Wii version doesnt use cookies at all. I dont like paying for "upgrades", a la Oblivion for the 360 and PC.

The wii version is an offline version with apparently a story mode if I recall.

Something I haven't heard of yet... What if you just don't feel like using the wiimote? I know it will be fun to actually swing the controller and all that. But right now it's 2am and i'm watching that commerical thinking, maybe there are just times I want to not move around a lot. I wonder how many games will offer you the option to go back to a standard controller.

Also they say 'Nintendo's New Console' at the beginning, is this because it was made while Revolution was still a code name, or do they not want to put 'Wii' on a commercial?

I think it is more of a get people's attention then give them a name.
New Nintendo Game Machine is something that will interest non gamers more then saying Wii or Revolution game system.

I guess that makes sense, it does emphasise the fact that Nintendo are releasing a new machine, where as simply stating Revolution or Wii doesn’t add any time frame.
Also, to #8; I also hope not all the games are so energetic! I game late into the night at weekends and it would annoy my house mates if I was jumping around.
