Lets face it. The Wii is always going to be an also ran.

I'm not a hater. I think that the gamecube had some games that outclassed many on the PS2 or xbox. Nintendo spend money on innovative ideas while Sony and Microsoft spend theirs on marketing.

Just works out that marketing sells more than an innovative product. :(

I think I will probably end up owning a PS3 and a Wii and my office will be getting a 360 so I'll get a taste of all 3.

I think the Mario head on Bush's body photchop is brilliant, because that Article read something like "Scott McClellan interviews George W. Bush."

I'm 99% sure this refers to the Wii, and that there is great cosmic Truth hidden away in those six panels.

From the three next gen machines, I'm looking at getting a Wii first and foremost (STOP IT!), but I'm afraid to say that I agree with those who say Nintendo'll be third in the next gen race. The retailers will ram their tongues firmly up Sony and Microsoft's asses once again, and the Wii will probably be lucky to get a pokey little corner at the back of GAME or GameStation the way the Gamecube was.

Marketing is all in this game. Just as Sega proved with the Saturn and Dreamcast that they can't plug for toffee in the West and the MegaDrive was a complete and total fluke, Nintendo are going to end up doing the same damn thing unless they pull their finger out.
