Readers pick best webcomic: May 21 - 27, 2006
It was a weekend for the usual patrons to come out on top. With an enormous lead, VG Cats brought in Snake and was crowned this week's best webcomic by a wide margin. In 2nd place we have Press Start to Play's pot-busting fiasco, and 3rd place was claimed by Ethan's Samus fetish on Ctrl+Alt+Del.Thanks to everyone who voted this week, and be sure to let us know of any game-related webcomics this week -- and for those Concerned fans, we'll be sure to keep an eye on them this week (sorry about that!).
Here's how it broke down:

I still say Dinosaur Comics was the best of the bunch.
But... Nintendo references totally destroyed the text-adventure references.

You look around and see that the Markster is right!!

Am I the only one that doesn't see the big deal over VGCats? This one wasn't even remotely funny, and yet it still got the most votes.

573: Kids.

I don't get the VGCats comic...

You're not alone, spencer.
I get it where Snake enters the picture and slashes mario, replacing him in the Revolution limelight...
but what's the pinkball thing? It couldn't be Kirby.

The VGCats one was extremely stupid. I can see how it won due to the fanboyism present here, where anything to do with the theme Nintendo or Super Smash automatically takes top place, but how it won by such a HUGE margin is beyond me.
And like last week, the Dragon one should've one =P

What, do you people not get it? It's saying "This is how you play with Snake in Smash Bros, yay! Stabby stabby." And the last part is a parody of the MGS4 trailer video, in which Snake tears off a mask and is revealed to be Raiden. Yes that is Kirby.
Sheesh. Kids these days. If it doesn't have farts or boobs you aren't interested.

9: Oddly enough, the SSBB trailer had both of those :-P
