It's an innovative new control method. It's going to take more than 5 or 10 minutes to get used to it. How long did it take you to effectively use the two-analog stick setup when you first tried it? I know I had problems.
Some games, especially early on, are going to use the Wii control in an awkward way. Nintendo's goal of easy control will be achieved in many games, especially games like Wii Sports, but for a game that is essentially a GameCube game retrofitted to Wii control, I think TP will be just fine. I'm just glad they made only the special sword attacks with the remote... now nobody complain about getting worn out by all that "exercise".

ok, i'm a bit confused - looking in the upper right corner, the "Reel" command is simply the 'A' button... not the actual motion of reeling. Oh well, maybe it's a combination of the 2. Only reason i question it is because when he went to cast his line there was a caption prompting him to motion the Wiimote in a forward sweeping manner.
Also, if i had to guess, i would say he was reeling so much because he knew the fish he was attracting were 'too slimy' and that he would have to throw it back.
Looks nice though (much better than at the E3 press conference, i think), can't wait to play it.

r-deezy, the Zelda games allow you to fast-reel (reel all the line in) using a single button press, but TP on the Wii may also allow you to press a button if you'd rather do that than move the nunchuck. People speculate that most games will allow you to press buttons rather than move the Wii remote for some actions. For example, maybe in a tennis game (other than Wii Sports) you'll have the option to use the Wii remote like normal, or to press the d-pad to select your spin - similar to Table Tennis on the 360.
He was probably reeling in so much to show the use of the nunchuck. The editor got enough of it the first time and just cut to the close shot.
