You will only be able to use it with people who are already on your friends list.

Oh boy...nothing quite gets the perverts out of the woodworks like a camera and an online network.

I doubt I will get it. Though, it would be fun to see if the supposed facial mapping technology in upcoming XBLA Poker game could map a dog's face.

You know...dogs playing poker...

I just don't get the need for a webcam on my 360. Nothing personal, but I really don't care what others look like when I play online against them, and so far all the "eye toy" game ideas I have seen so far do absolutely nothing for me. I think it's frivolous and I'll wait for the MS wireless racing wheel.

Scott - You are thinking of the WSOP Xbox 360 game, not the arcade title. Only the WSOP title has the cool face mapping, and yes, the facial expressions do change. :)

I don't think you could map a dogs head. I should try mapping a teddy bear or something and see how it turns out.

I have an Xbox 360 but don't plan on getting the camera unless a few of my friends get it or my brother gets one for his house. I do understand the need for it however. Although myself and others would never dare purchase this or use this, they need to compete with Sony and their IP camera.
