Well Sorry I can't add anything to the conversation, because I'm sooo hyper, just finished exams, all I can say is Nintendo will PWN Sony this time. Amen.

@BF2Fan

I'll take that bet. With the sensitivity on the IR remote kicked up to the max, and without relying soley on a cursor to tell me where I'm aiming, I would whoop on you hardcore, guaranteed. Dual analog for FPS's is slow and obsolete, I'll give you that, but the Wii-mote is not an analog stick. It's a mouse you can aim with (accelerometers will allow for fast turns as well as slow, precise sniping).

And about weapon changes, I'm sure a good third party developer could have ONE button mapped to bring up an on-screen menu of weapons for me to just "point and choose," on the fly. That would be slightly faster than checking the keyboard for the "5" button. My eyes would never leave the screen.

The potential for this system is there. Can a developer take full advantage is the REAL question.

I'm just not convinced that a new easier to grasp controller will improve gameplay and help develope games as an atrform. And frankly I am insulted as a lontime gamer to see Nintendo distancing itself from the demographic that made it big.
