I am very happy with this update... I hope my '360connect' still works.

Can anyone verify if the X360 still talks to their iTunes on their Mac?

Still no fix for the PAL50 issue with the VGA cable though. 'Use another cable' is not a fix.

Is there a way to get the MCE to read protected iTnes music?

#6 (Duscrom),

Only if Apple opens up their Digital Rights Management solution (Fairplay), which I doubt will happen anytime soon.

I know it's a pain, but just burn your iTunes Music Store music onto an audio CD and reimport it into iTunes in a non-protected format.

"Removed handling of MTP/USB devices when playing music from them more robust"

This doesn't make sense...it even fails as a partial sentence... Sounds like playing from a USB drive didn't get playlist support added. Grrr.

Anyway, this update sounds great.

Thanks for posting the list! There's a lot of cool updates.

It's interesting to see the difference between the articles about the update here and at Joystiq. At Joystiq, they complain about the update, even though the update addresses issues they've complained about in the past. They seem to complain just to complain.

I'm truly liking it here more these days.
