Jason spotted this gem over on Amazon's
"browse by system" link. It's great that they're still supporting systems that could be considered retro (
Mario Kart 64 anyone? No? How about
Crazy Taxi for your DC?), although excluding modern platforms like the DS and the Xbox 360 may not be in their best interest. Maybe they should start up an operation in
Senegal? We hear that
retro is really popular over there.Tags: Africa, Amazon, Crazy Taxi, CrazyTaxi, Dreamcast, DS, Mario Kart 64, MarioKart64, Nintendo 64, Nintendo64, Retro, Senegal, Xbox 360, Xbox360

Better still...if you click the "Other Systems" link at the bottom of that page, you'll be treated to a page of links for everything from the Atari 2600 and Turbo Graphix 16 to Phillips CD-i. Quite amusing.

There are still plenty of N64 and Dreamcast games sitting in warehouses, so Amazon is trying to sell the product. I really don't see how this is anything big. The main way to select by console is in the sidebar, so most shoppers probably don't even see that page.
Slow day guys?

uhmm.... I buy plenty of DS games on Amazon, I have no idea where you got word that they do not support DS. They have since launch day, You can also order from Toys R Us and Target via Amazon, also including DS games.

.ed, we know that Amazon sells games for modern platforms. We were just having a bit of fun with this one graphic, that's all.

.ed, the point is that Amazon sells games on DS and 360 - we all know that - but has failed to update a prominent page in years.

I work at an electronics store that still has "Master Levels for Doom 2" in stock. As well as Leonard Nimoy's "Primortals". Never heard of them? Exactly.

same deal with used books. Amazon doesn't stock anything.. they're just an "umbrella," plugging customers into second-hand shops. Nice thing is that they guarantee the purchases so you're covered if a shop is out to rip you off.

It's pretty cool I guess....
But no Supergrafx? :(
-I actually played one once. I think the game I fooled around with was called "battle ace", but I may be mistaken.

I was plesantly surprised to see all the Dreamcast games Amazon had, until I saw the price for Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves. $80!
