You'll like the matte look inside once you realize you dont have smeary fingerprints to constantly look at.

That blue strip is badass, almost exactly mimics the black Wii. Very hawtt.

I wipe at the fingerprints on the white waaaaaay to much to be able to stomach all the smudges on a black one. Yikes I can feel my OCD kicking in already.

Oh man it's attractive, but I flinch when thinking about the fingerprints the front surface will pick up. Imagine the edges of the PSP with a surface area almost the size of the PSP screen. Ugh.

We will give you £40 for the old-style DS, so long as you bring it in with its charger (you don't need to bring the box) and it's all in good working order.
I was playing with mine today at work and I can guarantee you it looks 100 times shinier than the white Lite... unfortunately fingerprints show much easier than on the white one :(
I wouldn't dare try and sneak it out of my work though, we do checks before leaving; whoever Spudstercool is has either got lax security at work or he has some damn good way of hiding it! :D

Dam that things is sexxxxxxxxy i can't wait to get mine, one question tho any of you guys tink that that the lites will sell out fast (ala first few days) i ask this cause it's my birthday on sunday and i won't have cash for pre-order it, so im gona have to buy it then. im just paranoid, plus after seeing in the US selling so fast and also in jap gets me worried, hopfully nintendo get stock back fast it they do run out :)

When does the US get color'd DSs? I want a lite, but not a white lite. I will wait to replace my electric blue DS once there are new colors available in the US.

I agree with Chris. After getting smudges and scratches all over my previously nice and shiny Black iPod 30GB, I'm glad it's matte black on the inside at least, where you'll be pressing buttons and whatnot.

I dont see what the worry is with finger prints. With the PSP I cared since they always ended up on the screen but if its only the outside case of the DS thats going to smudged with fingers, surely thats not such a big deal?

The black is looking seriously cool. The matte black on the inside is a good idea. My PSP is constantly covered in fingerprints.

From the picture it looks a little bit like my enamel navy version under certain lighting conditions. I went to GAME yesterday and they haven't had any black versions even on displays.

Wow, now that's one hot looking system. I already picked up the white DS Lite on June 11th, but this thing does look very nice. I won't buy a second DS Lite, but I'm sure there'll be plenty of people out there that do for this sleek color.

I have to admit, it does like fairly sleek, but I'm still glad I went for the white version. The fingerprints issue (as shown in the GameTrailers hands-on) is a real turn-off for me, not to mention all my bloody PC kit is black.
Damn you for making me have second thoughts about my pre-order!

Personally, I think the white one is nicer. Although it may be Apple-esque, I think it still has that certain Nintendo charm. White + Nintendo = Nice.

The matt black inside is horrid, looks so cheap, what a let down. Glad I pre ordered a white one today. I saw Game were offering £40 off the DS Lite if you traded yours in when buying, but I stuck mine on ebay and got £67. Game really blow chunks.
