The black DS Lite, in the flesh

Also I just realized that the black colour on the inside of that just screams "SEGA" at me.

Ah the black hole that is a taxi cab, my DS must have fallen out of my pocket, only a week old and is now (most likely permanently) lost, this may have to replace it. When is it coming out? It may give me time to raise another 140.

I love my white one better, it matches AWSOME with my white PSP.

Anyone wondering when the US will get different colors can expect to wait until Christmas time. The DS Lite sales should start slumping by November. Perfect timing for the release of some game bundles with matching Lites. Like a black one bundled with Tenchu.

Imagine getting a "Zelda Green" DS Lite with Phantom Hourglass. Sweet. I'm such a genius it hurts my brain sometimes.

#39 - You'd only need to buy an AC adapter when you got back home which are fairly inexpensive.

I have pre-ordered the White DS:Lite from gameplay.co.uk, they said it would arrive Firday morning but the order is saying it will be here by wednesday/thursday so I could be lucky. Only bought the BrainAge (called something different here) at the moment.

This is my first nintendo console since the Gameboy Color (can't believe that I managed to use it without a backlight).

My local independent is stocking (and selling) NSMB, DS Lite white, and black from half an hours time - but a bit too late for me to get there. Have to get it tomorrow... probably in black.

Ah, I got a black DS lite today. I traded my old phat DS, 2 games and 24$ for a lite, nice offer. ^^ It's pretty, but fingermarks is there for sure. I still love the lite.

I must say when the old nintendo ds came out i was like "omg nintendo no, its SO fugly!" i wondered why they wouldn't have thought about it that little bit longer and made it at least a little attractive. Thank the lord for the lite! i nearly wet my pants in eb games when i felt it! All that was out were the white ones and i loved the feeling of the matte inside, so much more stylish and seperating from the psp. Although thankfully nintendo thought about it and realised that the matte would simply scrape off if it were on the outside so chose the simple shiny cover, (too bad for fingerprints i guess).

I loved the white because it was so much like an apple product, and was very cute, especially DIFFERENT! Though i new something was coming after, and i was holding out for the hope there would be a black, THANKYOU! I have a 60GB Black ipod, and am going to purchase a black wii when it is released (to match my old gc's black controller, oh so cute! I hate buying the products of the same colour as their launch's eg white wii or ds ore ipod).

The best thing about it being black is it'll match my wii and serve as an additional controller blending in perfectly. The black highlights the screen's colour, and for the fingerprints on the outside- Who cares at least im not scraping the screen when i clean it, + once in a while i like the feeling of shining up my little goodies and making them all sparkly clean.

When is it coming out in the us?

Well, Nintendo confirmed that the Black and Pink (Onyx and Coral Pink) models of the DS lite will be here in the US on September 13th.

I wonder when it will come out at walmart? I WANT IT SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!
