Microsoft announces X06: September in Spain [update 1]

Microsoft has officially announced X06 for September 27th and 28th in Barcelona, Spain. Microsoft is hoping to attract visitors from South Africa, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, which will all see the Xbox 360 launch in their countries by the end of the year.Chris Lewis, the regional vice president of Xbox for Europe, Middle East and Africa, promises "some exciting announcements" this year. In 2002, Microsoft used the event to announce its acquisition of Rare.
Microsoft held its last Xbox event, X05, in Amsterdam. The event drew in many journalists for their abundance of legal "hookers and hash."
[update 1: Contrary to popular belief -- mine, and I am so popular -- it is actually not called the "Middle Ease." But if it was, it'd probably solve a lot of problems. Also corrected a date involving the MS/Rare announcement.]

Middle East is spelled incorrectly. (just .... wanted to point that out)
And the 360 HASN'T launched in Eastern Europe yet? Worldwide launch my foot!

Strange that it has yet to launch in Poland, Czech Rep. and Slovakia. I wasn't aware of that. Those countries are all part of the EU and have been so since 2004. The only reason I can think of for it is that they do not yet use the Euro.
I'm also curious to see what sort of prices Microsoft implement in these territories.

Actually, Microsoft used X01 to announce launch details of the original Xbox.
The aquisition of Rare was announced at X02.

We have some exciting announcements to make and even more to show people. X06 will firmly place Xbox 360 as the console of the next generation.”
Come on MS give us some gr8 jaw dropping info! PLEASE! Most ppl already know it's the console of the console of the next gen! Relax ps fanboys I said MOST!!!

Damnit.. Spain! Come back to Amsterdam, where I got to push away an angry IGN editor :-D Newscrew coming through biatches ! (to be fair, I did get trashed on many a forum later, for being a little too excited about the violent games and giggling like a schoolgirl at the same time) Good times baby! X05, you were the best.. good luck finding gaymers in spain..
