The entire thing is pretty much posterboard (not plastic) and tape. I use a craft knife to cut the posterboard so that all my cuts are extremely clean, and I use patent images as a reference for accuracy.

As for the Wiimote, that's all posterboard as well, though I did fasten two AA batteries on the inside for more realistic weight. The face buttons, well, that just took patience lol

The Wii is so awesome and I appreciate you making these models so I can have some pictures to drool on before the real thing arrives and I can start drooling on my real Wii.

Oh yeah, and San Franisco, California = Soda / Subs
But I also have a house in Boston where it is still Soda / Subs.

But I always, ALWAYS say sprinkles. I can't stand the word "jimmies"

man... you're my rival :p just as I was starting my alpha version wii mockup, yours appeared... and it's sooooo good :D

and yeah I'm dutch ;) the first line means: "finally received my Nintendo Wii dev kit"

but it's the most simple mock-up ever, it doesn't even have the sliced corner (how the hell do I subscribe that) and touchable buttons ;)

Yours is pretty good too! Though, looking at your disc slot as a reference, it's a bit big, but it's pretty close. Mine's not exact either, but I used the video of Miyamoto ejecting a disc to try and get it as close to size as possible.

This is definently a better way to look at the pictures than through GameFAQs, 'cos it's split over anywhere between 6 and 30 pages there and you have to manually insert the web address for the link.

Down in Australia, we call Coke 'Coke', Pepsi 'Pepsi', and Dr Pepper 'that terrible tasting drink that didn't last 3 months when it was introduced.'
If the bottle is empty and the label removed, most of us call it a softdrink bottle.

A sub is a sub if it is from Subway. I personally would call it a roll otherwise.

Sprinkles are sprinkles or 'hundreds-and-thousands'

Another thing I though I would bring up is chips, rather than crisps and fries

are you serious!?! thats how small the wii is (that sounded kinda wrong). is that wii even real? if not how do you know if the measurements are completly accurate? and how did you make it it looks so real?

anyways...if that is completly accurate i. am. shocked. i knew the Wii was going to be small compared to the 360 and PS3 but not as small as the DS lite in height! thats crazy. i guess i wont have a problem looking for a spot to put my wii when i get it. =D

Great job with the Wii w/ ... collection. Its Art.

In your "classic collection", dont forget to Wii w/ classic atari joystick (red button).

Perhaps a "danger collection", with Wii w/ various weapons, bombs, and dangerous substances.

And please persuade your gf or hire a model for "over 18 collection", with Wii w/ sexy body parts.
